Maplewood Education Services is the coordinator of the Chinglin peer-to-peer English tutoring program for students this summer. Volunteer students have been recruited from international and local English-medium-of-instruction schools to provide conversational English and reading/writing workshops to fellow students attending Hon Wah Middle School, a local Chinese-medium-of-instruction secondary school in Hong Kong. The program also serves as an opportunity for student tutors to participate proactively in a meaningful community service close at home.
