Hi,
I was very excited to find your picture gallery and see the pictures of Dong Yang SWI in Zhejiang Province. We just received a referral of our daughter from this orphanage. I am having a difficult time finding any information about this orphanage. I would appreciate any information and pictures you may have from the orphanage. I would love to hear the story of your trip to adopt your second daughter. She is adorable.

I always enjoy your photos so much and check your galleries often for new updates. I recently started my own PBase gallery in which some of our little China doll's pictures are posted. (Jada is actually my cousin, but I claim her :) Her family is adopting again and tomorrow will be 3 months since LID. I'm expecting a late Dec. referral and a late Feb. travel.)

Again- your family is beautifuL!!

Greetings Allison ...

I enjoyed your photo account of your trip to China and the adoption of your lovely daughter. Upon our return from adopting Michaela, I put my memory into a song, which I wrote and recorded last year. The song is entitled "Another Changsha Morn."

If you are interested in receiving a copy of the words, and/or the cd, please contact me at my email address jml420@aol.com

I wish you and your family all the best.

Jimmy

Allison,
All of your photos are amazing! I loved them all! We just received our referral for our second daugther from China. He Xiao Ye...soon to be Jada Amanda. She is in the Changsha 1st SWI. That is how I came across your photos. We adopted our daughter Tia, 11/02 from Yongzhou SWI, Hunan. I was so touched to see your girls together! We are taking Tia with us to pick up Jada and it was wonderful to imagine our two daughters together in CHINA! We are hoping to tour the orphanage and take pictures. If we are not able to, would it be possible to get copies of some of your photos?

Anna and Lauren are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Allison,

Beautifull girls!!

We were in December 2002 in Hangzhou. There we got our little girl Jinjin. When I saw your pictures I recognised the streets. We were in a hotel just around the corner.

I had made some pictures from the building Civil Affairs. That building was across the street at your hotel. There were the official procedures. I think you have been there to. When I was home, the pictures were very bad. The building has been down, so new pictures are not possible. Did you make some pictures and do you want to share those?

With warm greetings,

Erik

what beautiful little girls. Very prescious. Don't mean to speak out of place but there is a 700 Club in Virginia Beach which has group of doctors called Operation Smile to help little ones with their lips. What a very prescious little girl and so so so so so happy. I have a friend on the operation smile team if you need. God Bless you for taking care of these beautiful girls. Such a happy family. God Bless your heart for adopting them. May God watch over you and bless everyone. You are very lucky to have such good girls.

God Bless

I came across your photos while searching through family websites on adoption. My husband and I have a five year old daughter who was born in Kazakhstan. Now we are considering adopting a little girl who will be two in July who has a cleft similar to your Lauren's. Would you mind telling me about your experience with Lauren? She appears to be similar in age to the little girl we are considering. Where are you located? I saw Statesboro -- is that Georgia? We are in Charlotte, NC. I'm interested in knowing which cleft team you will be using ... Thanks for any info!!

We adopted our daughter, Grace Chen Xia Johnson, in August '03 from Dongyang SWI. She is just five months older than Lauren, born November '01, perhaps they were playmates in the orphanage.

Gracie was wearing the same dress in the photo the Dongyang SWI provided us just before we went to China to get her.

Would love to correspond with you and maybe share photos. We have some pics of the outside of Dongyang SWI, also, and a couple of shots in the playroom. Hope to hear from you, Todd Johnson e-mail k9_bite@msn.com

Allison,
Anna is so cute! Thanks for sharing your photos with me. I am only three days away from flying to China to get my Emily. Seeing your trip photos is just what I need right now! I'm so glad you are getting Anna a sister!

Hey, we have the same toy car for the kid and nearly the same blinds.

Almost spooky.

It is very kind of you to "save" Anna from China. Chinese people always look down on female expecially for poor village female. I do hope if Anna could live happily in her "new" life ! In general speaking, living in US is always better than living in PRC. (I'm living in Hong Kong, PRC).

Loved your photos from Changsha. Your daughter is beautiful.
We were in Changsha in Februay - picked up our daughter from Changsha No.1 too! The rooms look the same as the ones we saw on Feb 4th. There were 14 girls from Changsha No.1 in our group - all doing well.
Good luck from a Changsha-mum in Norway

Gail forwarded little Anna's pictures to me. She's a doll! I know you're anxious to get home to show her off. Please bring her with you to the next Clerk's function. We're all so happy for you.

Allison,

You've spoiled me. I'm having withdrawal pains from not getting any updates on your trip or new pictures in 2 whole days.

Really, I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you and hope that your family is having a wonderful time.

Can't wait to meet Anna.

Love,
Gail
