Your photos are an inspiration. Let us know when the book is out on just how you go about doing work like this. Fantastic macro work, lighting, composition, post the whole 9 yards.
Many compliments

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate and enjoy your gorgeous photos. The shots of flowers, in particular, are lyrical and delicate. Amazing work.

Hi Malcolm. Really love your images. I'm putting together a brochure design for a client of ours based in Ilkley and we really want to feature some good images of Yorkshire . I was just wondering if you could let me know what the price might be to license some of your pictures for this purpose? We'd need about 6 in total. If you can give me an email asap to let me know if this is something you would do I would be very grateful as we're on quite a tight deadline!

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

David

Hi Malcolm, really like your photo's, you've certainly had some interesting days out!

Could you (if you have the time) send me a route description of your Jumble Clough walk??? It's just up the valley from my girlfriends house but i can't find it on the map.

Much appreciated, Steve

Malcolm

I was searching for a picture of Pendle Hill and I came across your excellent photo at P base

I noticed that you have the words to the famous song below the picture - I thought this may interest you.

There is quite a history to the song - which my wife & I regularly perform with our band TROUBLE at' MILL troubleatmill.com

First of all it's not 'Oh' Pendle - it's 'Old' Pendle

Like you I always assumed that it was 'Traditional' - with the verse about the Witches added much later by Brian Osbourne - From The Blackpool Taverners

I used to introduce it as such, then in 2007, an old chap named 'Tom Haworth' was in our audience, when we performed at Fence - near Burnley. Tom approached us, after the show and informed us that the song had - in fact - been composed by his uncles - Millton & Allan Lambert and he kindly sent me a photocopy of the sheet music (Published in 1926) signed by them.
Would you like me to Scan it and Email it to you?

Secondly
- We sent Tom a recording of us singing the song - however I now have a film of us singing it which I would like him to have and it would be really great if I could have the closing credit 'PENDLE OLD PENDLE - Milton & Allan Lambert etc' scrolling down over your atmospheric picture.

I must add that this not in any way a commercial venture

Yours Sincerely

Graham Dixon
