Door

This is one of the side doors of St Peter's Cathedral, Drogheda.
The church is famous for housing a shrine containing the head of Oliver Plunkett, the Catholic Archbishop who was martyred in London after he was found guilty of treason.
It's quite an unlikely tourist attraction as such relics are quite unusual in Ireland although every church seems to have them in Italy.
Next time I have my D7000 with me, I'll try to get photo of the shrine - the E-P1 just wasn't up to the job.

I'd suggest that you join me in E-M1 land, but I know, the cash, the cash...
The E-P1 was always useful and capable with this sort of shot though, as shown above.
Your story does remind me of the tale of a con artist who was offering to sell the skull of Brian Boru to pilgrims. One such pilgrim noted that he in fact had two skulls for sale, one noticeably smaller than the other. "Ah," the conman replied, "that was Brian Boru's skull when he was still a boy!"

Interesting information and definitely a lovely entryway. V
