Beginning to look like autumn

It's beginning to look like autumn but it still doesn't feel like it with the crazy weather we've been having.
I'm ready to get wrapped up in wooly jumpers and warm scarves but the weather is exceptionally warm for the time of years.
Took a detour up the mountain on my way back from the country market this morning - the landscape is gradually acquiring an autumn palette.

Now, you KNOW that you're going to be complaining when you finally ARE forced into the woolly jumpers, right? I've been through this seasonal change with you a couple of times now and I can feel it in my bones as accurately as you'll feel that cold Irish wind in yours.
This is a very nice shot; the backlighting plays very well against the shape of the leaves. I like the way they're sitting over the top of the soft ferns at the back, and the very soft green-turning-to-gold in the far background provides an ideal context backdrop.

A lovely composition with a feeling of fall to it. I like your use of DOF here in particular. V.

This is really pretty, with the soft ferny foliage and the just turning yellow leaves (hazel?). V
