Daffodil Day, which raises funds for the Irish Cancer Society, isn't until the end of March,
but already shops in Drogheda are decorating their window for the event.
They've been doing this for a few years now,and it certainly raises awareness of this worthy cause, as well as looking good.
Some shops combine it with their St Patrick's Day decorations.
Apparently a tv crew was due to film the displays for broadcast on national television.
It would be nice if more towns followed this initiative.
