A Touch of Sun

It's still bitterly cold with flurries of snow throughout the day.
Fortunately the snow didn't lie and there was a reminder than
Spring will return when the sun caught these leaves.
Hard to believe that this time last year Ireland was basking in a mini
heatwave.

The lighting is exquisite! V
I'm beginning to feel springtime in my neck o' the woods too (even though it snowed here on Monday!) :)

Love the light & textures in this back-lite flax.

The leaves could make us believe it was sunbathing weather.

They are not risking it here! It has snow varying amounts every day for the last 10 days. Even I am begining to a touch sunlight and green would be wlecome, but not quite yet!!!! Nice shot of the promise of spring

Love the light and color here! Your use of DOF is also very effective here. I sure wish we had some of that glorious sunlight! V.

The light really makes these leaves look spring like. There is hope. Beautiful find on a cold day. V.

WOW, real sunshine!

It's a good use of the light; there's a tone to it which indicates that it really is warming sunlight rather than any artificial lighting, though not a stroing summer sun yet. (Not that you get a lot of that anyway.)
Unfortunately the cold probably isn't helping your latest round of sniffles, which I hope you have a better run with once the weather warms.
