My baking skills might be improving but I still need to brush up on the fine art of food photography.

I think photographing food is more difficult than any other subject. It is a technique I haven't mastered, but have tried again and again. Your photo is really good. The plate and background work well. I bet this muffin tastes delicious!

This definetely looks wonderful. Nice presentation, the colors from the rich, dark
wood to the pretty saucer and bokeh are very nice.
