I had the pleasure of leading Dundalk's first Photo Walk for Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk today.
Organising any outdoor event in Ireland is a nerve-wrecking experience as more often than not it seems to rain. If anything, the weather was almost too nice today, with bright sunshine quickly replacing the early morning mist.
About two dozen photographers turned up. We met in the local park, and some of us walked along the river and visited the 800 year old St Nicholas Green Church, while others managed to get a boat trip out on the Bay.
And naturally enough, the walk ended in a pub for some grub and camera talk.
