Vintage Ploughing

I went along to the Knockbridge Vintage Show this afternoon.
This annual event had been post-poned from early September due to the bad weather and today proved perfect, with sunshine and blue skies.
It's always a great day out with displays of vintage farm machinery and cars,
demonstrations of ploughing and threshing, and sheep racing!
Took loads of pics so will be uploading a gallery whenever I get time.

That would be very interesting to watch how the work was done so many years ago,
and some still do. Beautiful farm scene with these draft horses and plow.

Framing is a hard occupation but this wonderful image shows how much harder it used to be. Beautiful draft horses and old plow. I'm glad they recreate this agricultural history. Can't wait to see the sheep racing! V.
