As my menfolk were watching the Champions League Final at home (I've now got one very happy Chelsea fan) I took my mother-in-law to a fund-raising charity concert in the Holy Trinity Heritage Centre in Carlingford yesterday evening.
It proved most enjoyable and the line-up included local choral groups, a mezzo-soprano, some traditional musicians and the Murphy Brothers from The Four of Us who are just back from touring in Germany.
It seems nowadays that an essential part of attending any concert is to record it on your iPhone, whether to play back and relive memories or to post on Facebook to make your friends jealous, I'm not sure which.
