There's a boutique music festival taking place in Bellurgan Park, which is just at the end of our road, this weekend. Vantastival features a line-up of mostly up and coming bands, events for all the family, and a gathering of VW camper vans, hence its name.

And given that the forecast is typical festival weather with sunshine and showers, I'm getting out that essential festival accessory - the colourful wellies.
I was shocked to discover that there's such a thing as design wellies which cost a pretty penny. These are a discount supermarket purchase and do just as good as job in keeping my feet dry.
