Had the opportunity to attend an invite-only exhibition of work by Croi 8 (pronounced create), a collective of women artists from Counties Louth, Monaghan and Cavan today.
Entitled 'She...who could have been me' it was a challenging and thought-provoking exhibition inspired by a poem written by one of the group which muses at how different their lives might have been had they been born in another time, country or society.
This is one of the artists, Petra, a Swede who has made her home in Ireland.
