Teapot Daffs

I've been hanging out on interior design sites and blogs of late which has, I must confess, led to me neglecting Pbase somewhat.
As I look at some of the beautiful homes and rooms on sites like designsponge and pinterest, I feel inspired to try out some of the low-cost, low-effort idea, such as a floral arrangement in an old teapot.
And while mine is wilder and more unruly than the elegant display of roses and jasmine which I was copying, I like how it bring spring indoors.

I looked and said " Margaret Olley " a notable interior still life artist who recently passed away...she was my favourite and I'm sure you would love her work so
check this link <http://www.savill.com.au/artist_margaretolley.html look at yellow flowers in a blue vase...this photo reminded me of this gorgeous display.
If you google with Margaret Olley Paintings there is a glorious images page of here and her work. She was 88 when she passed away last year. Such a real Australian character.

This caught my eye immediately. I love the blue and white teapot, and the arrangement is perfect, hinting at the countryside and flower-lined lanes. You did well!! V+

Beautiful lighting and colors. Very nicely arranged and they look wonderful in the old tea pot.

It does when the light bounces off them like that...

Those yellows do certainly bring spring indoors which has to be good as long as you don't want a cuppa.

The yellow in this is beautiful with the teapot.

A lovely natural mix of Daffs and Ivy and that Teapot is very pretty - are you sure you should be using it for flowers?

Although its nice to see those interior design sites, I think any of us could do something like them if we had the same money to spend. The art is in doing what you've done here, an attractive arrangement that probably didn't cost you a cent.
