The mudflats of Dundalk are very important feeding grounds for birds, particularly during winter when thousands of migratory birds come
here. I know I should do a bit of studying so I would know the godwits
from the knots, although I can recognise a curlew with its distinctive cry.
Of course wearing a bright orange coat while walking a dog is not really a good idea for birdwatching.
