I have huge admiration for the many excellent nature photographers on Pbase who bring us stunning wildlife images. I don't, however, aspire to be a wildlife photographer - I don't have the skill, patience, and lets face it, the equipment needed to produce those amazing images. But I hit it lucky earlier in the week. 'There's swallows on the wire outside my bedroom window', said my son. So, I opened the window, supported the camera on the top of the frame, and began shooting. I hadn't realised that they were young birds until suddenly one of the parents flew down. Just got one shot of the youngster getting its supper - or did the fly escape?
