Hunter of the skies

There was a display of birds of prey at my son's school today. It was still taking place when I went to collect him, so I nipped in and saw some of the birds - a variety of falcons, hawks and owls - making it one of my easiest PAD's ever and proving the wisdom of always carrying a camera
in my handbag.

Sometimes serendipity is on your side. The angle of light works well to show off the curve of the wings, the texture of the feathers and the translucency of the eye.
