Looking for Colour

In theory, the weekend should be the easiest time to get at least one pic
for my PAD, but it's not always the case. Today was cold, dull and gray, as
January drained colour from the landscape. I was busy too with family
and household duties. These beech leaves clinging to their branches
were the most interesting thing I found when I took Fudge for a walk.

The colorless season is upon us but you managed to find some wonderfully subtle tones. A lovely image.

Great color in this shot and I can almost hear them "snap" in my hands if I crumbled them.

Between the colours and the crispness of the textures, that's PLENTY interesting! (Especially when it's as closely cropped as that, to really bear down on the central content.) Fear not, there's only one day left in January (I don't know where that went to, which will be the subject of my own PAD tomorrow) and by the end of next month you'll be well on the way to spring.
