The birds and I have a happy relationship. I feed them, putting out nuts, seeds and fat balls,
and they, in turn, provide me with lots of entertainment and photo opportunities.
The cold weather has returned - a heavy overnight frost brought ice on the puddles, and
there was snow on the mountains but none down here at sea level.
I didn't feel like venturing very far today, apart from taking Fudge for a walk, so I just
opened the kitchen window and waited for one of my colourful visitors to arrive.
