Old Railway Gate, Bellurgan Point, Co Louth
The Great Northern Railway (GNR) used to run from Dundalk to Greenore, passing close to
my home.
The popularity of road transport saw the railway closing in 1957. All that remains
are these old gates at various locations were the tracks once lay.
