Another day of limited photo opportunities but I couldn't resist this deeply scented stock.
I bought it when I nipped into the supermarket for a few bits and bobs on my way
home from work yesterday. I often accuse my husband of being tempted by the
DIY and gadgetry sections yet I can't walk past the flower displays without picking
up a bunch.
It wasn't just the possibility of bailing me out of a sticky PAD moment which made
me buy these; there is something wonderfully nostalgic about these stocks. They are
reminiscent of cottage gardens and I remember my mother planting in them in
our garden when I was a child.
I am way behind with commenting but will try to catch up.
