Thank goodness it's Friday

Sometimes I feel I'm wishing my life away. Work has become so relentless of late
that I keep wishing for it to be Friday. I wish for the weeks to pass by until it's
time for holidays.
When it's winter I'm longing for spring, then I want the warmth of summer.
As summer wears on I welcome the colours of autumn and as the days grow dark and cold
I await the celebrations at Christmas time.
Days, weeks, seasons give way to years. Where does the time go when I'm waiting for it to pass?
