I nearly missed this sunset as I wasn't planning on taking a sunset at all.
It was misty and dull for most of the day, with a little bit of sunshine in the
afternoon.
As I'm still feeling under the weather, I was taking it easy. Popped into the
Flower Market for a cup of coffee and a read of the papers before doing some
grocery shopping. The Flower Market is one of those places that I know that
I can always get a shot and sure enough I did - a pretty arrangement of flowers
and sugar lumps - so I thought 'that will do my PAD'. But as I turned up the
road for home, I noticed a red glow low in the sky and decided to drive up
to the end to see if perhaps the tide was in. Sure enough, the water was
mirror-like and I caught the last slice of colour just above the horizon.
The flowers, by the way, went into the new 'pink' gallery which I have started.
