I stopped making New Year Resolutions years ago, all except one.
I am resigned to the fact that I'll never be a size 10 again, never
master the French language or learn a musical instrument. I do
have some good intentions, to get fit, to read more, to brush up
on the little bit of Italian that I can speak, and get to grips with
processing, but these can apply any time, not just at the
birth of a new year.
The one resolution that I make every year is to try to remember
how precious life is, to enjoy it to the full, and to appreciate
my wonderful family and friends.
