St Stephen's Day

I've spend so many Christmasses in England that I have to resist the temptation to call
the day after Christmas Boxing Day.
After two dinners of turkey and ham and all the trimmings, trifle, Christmas cake,
After Eight Mints, Terry's Chocolate Oranges, and mince pies washed down by wine,
it was time to get some exercise. Admittedly the footpaths were so difficult to
negotiate that I'm sure I didn't burn off many, if any, calories but it was nice to
get out into the crisp fresh air. Following the less slippery paths, we ended up
in the graveyard in Lees village, just as the sun was setting over t'tops.

A beautiful winter scene with that golden glow of the setting sun.
I enjoyed reading about your Christmas feast. It's no wonder that so many of us resolve to "lose weight" in the new year after all the Christmas goodies we've devoured!

Just being out in the cold would burn calories! A beautiful shot for the end of the year.

Sounds it was a terrific Christmas for your stomach, but fortunately you survived:) The empty graveyard at sundown looks stunning.
