I love autumn. I love the rich warm colours, the golds and the rusts, the ambers and auburns. I love the
bright crisp days, the blue skies, the golden sunsets and the misty mornings. I love the last blast of colour
in the garden and hedgerows, the chrysanthemums, the last roses and the berries, and the turning leaves.
These flowers came from the Flower Market, not our garden unfortunately, as I thought they might come in
useful on a dull day. Today was just such a day . Busy too, with lots of stories to write up from yesterday's court.
It's my birthday too so we went for a meal in our favourite restaurant but instead of toasting the occasion with
wine, I had to settle for Lemslip and a hot water bottle as I've got another cold :(
