I was really stuck for a picture for my PAD until I looked out the window and realised that there was a beautiful sunset outside. If truth be told, I was really hoping to keep sunsets in reserve for days when I don't get the chance to shoot anything better but why look a gift horse in the mouth?
Even though I'm on holidays today, it didn't prove a good day for taking photographs. First of all it was dull and overcast, secondly our son was off school as he's got a bad cough (not swine flu), and last but not least, I was feeling lazy and uninspired.
Plans for doing something exciting gave way to the realisation that I would have to settle for doing something boring. So, I sorted out my wardrobe, packed away the summer clothes, gathered a bag of our son's outgrown clothes for donating to a charity shop, and tackled the mountain of ironing which never seems to get any smaller.
Tomorrow, hopefully, will be more exciting.
