Moving in 1st gear at last!

We bought our new car in August last, and ever since we've been having problems with the first gear change mechanism. It's been in and out of the garage to be repaired under guarantee on numerous occasions. Finally, after a fortnight's separation, during which we used one of the garage cars, it came home: fixed at last. So now I don't have people bipping the horn at traffic lights when the car does what I ask it to do!

Glad to hear you cars is fixed. This a very good interpretation of "movement" by the way.

Nice entry and glad the car is fixed. We have a Subaru Forester car that jumps out of 1st gear when engine braking on steep downhills (not a big deal once you are aware of it). We tried twice under warranty to get it fixed. They couldn't find the problem!!!. No more servicing at this place from me.

You must have bought an off-roader....it clearly spends more time off the road, in the garage, than on it!! Think of the positives though....you may never have taken such a classy image such as this one, if it had behaved itself...!!! ;-))

Sorry about the bad luck but the shot is fantastic. I love the monotone and the lighting is perfect.

It's a sports car, I would presume. Don't forget to carry your camera in it all of the time.

How very annoying! I think they should just give you a new model!
Great still life shot.

Urg - another reason not to get a shiny new car! They're nothing but trubble :(
