In November 2002 the Dublin City Council erected a sculpture entitled
"An Cailín Bán" (= The Fair Girl)
by the Mexican artist Sebastian.
The sculpture was donated to the City by the Mexican Government
and now stands as a significant focal point at the northern end of Sandymount Promenade.
After looking at this picture (and I thank you for the visit),
if you have a little time,
you might like to visit also our Virtual Art Gallery
where there is now a photo competition being exhibited
(obviously the competition doesn’t include any of my photos,
but it’s based on many beautiful photos submitted by PBase members;
I simply help to organize and host that)
If you like what you see there
you may be motivated to express your preference there
to help determine the winners.
Thank you
