CAMERA: Pentax.K.1000 manual 35mm.
PRINTS: Available up to 8x10- SILVER R.C or FIBRE BASED- Hand processed by me in my own darkroom/ bathroom during late nocturnal hours.
ARTIST STATUS: Self- Taught, emerging, I have been learning/ practicing the art of photography since the autumn of 2000.
BRIEF AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Originally from Chateauguay, Quebec, I have lived in several locations- Montreal, Windsor, London, Bancroft, Peterborough and currently- Belleville. In 2000- while living in Bancroft I became interested in photography being inspired by the regions natural, rugged landscape, I purchased my first and current camera- a Pentax.K.1000- 35mm and began learning to work with film, light, shadow and texture. A year later I obtained my first enlarger a Durst.M.600- my bathroom became my darkroom and I began learning the process of film development, fine art printing and darkroom techniques- I continue to learn and grow as an artist as I practice my craft.

2002,2003, 2004- The Miniatures Show at the Aikin Gallery on Hunter St. in Peterborough. A juried show of mixed media-which occurs every year as a Christmas event.
July- 2003, 2004- The Friends of Bon Echo Fine Art Exhibit and Sale- in Bon Echo Provincial Park, this is a juried event, which occurs yearly and I will be present for this show again this summer.
December-January- 2002, 2003, 2004- The Miniatures Show- The Aikin Gallery at Cossar’s Art Supply on Hunter St. in Peterborough.
Feb- Mar 2002- Solo Show at Dream’s and Beans Café on Hunter St. In Peterborough.
July- 2002- Lakefield Art and Jazz Fest- a Juried outdoor event.
Feb- 2004- The Belleville Public Library and Art Gallery- Heritage Quinte- a juried showing of mixed media pertaining to the cultural and historic aspects of the Quinte region.
Summer- 2004- Kingston, On- The Wellington Art Gallery and Boutique- I have displayed several pieces at this location.
Summer- 2004-Artisan’s Alley- Located in the historic carriageway between Brock St and Princess. A pilot project designed by local Kingston artist’s and K.I.N.C.O.R.E- Kingston’s downtown economic development association, this was developed to give artist’s a place to display and sell their work as well as create an inviting and interesting environment for tourists and patrons of Kingston’s downtown core. I participated in this event last summer on several occasions and it was a win- win for both the artist’s and the local businesses that were adjacent to our event. Again- I plan to be involved in this project this coming summer.
