Me With Everest Climber " Jim Whittaker"

I first met " Big Jim" on the Crater Rim Of Mt. Rainier in July of 1981 after my first trip to the top. Jim fist climbed Rainier Im 1947 and did Everest In 1963 ,. He was the first Amercian on top and 5th person to ever summit that Mt. ( Photo by Diane Roberts, Jim Wife)

Yes, he climbed Everest, but can he set the brakes on a Geep? I think I saw him once in the REI Pike Street store around 1964.
