Pass is over 7,900ft. and is the " Rear Entrance" into Enchantments which is Washington's answer to the Wind River Range, The Sierras, and The Marbles, but different than any of them. Hiking into the Enchantmants is always a grind whether you enter from Snow lakes trailhead or Colchuck. Colchuck is 2,000 ft. higher ,but the rough Pass behind me is a stopper to most.
