A Bad scan of a bad photo of my old 1969 dart which I traded for a Kawasaki 400. Dumbest move ever other than marrying my X-wife. Had headers and Thrush Glass packs. Bought it for 800.0 in summer of 1976 and kick myself for trading it away....... Facts,,, 20,000 of these were made in 1969 and came stock with a 340 which had 275 hp with 4 barrel carb.

I have one like above,and in the past few yeras the thought has crossed my mind to sell. After reading your story and seeing the photo,hope I keep it longer.Bought the swinger in 1987, from a guy who bought it in Oct. 1969. Still has the orig. spare. As you know these 340s were way underrated (275 was ajoke) in horsepower.1969 340 Swingers got there kicks on the street,beating maga cube muscle cars ratted 350 or more h.p.

Bought for $2100 in 1971.
