Entiat River Valley

This small river valley is passed by the hordes flocking to Lake Chelan for their summer vacations which is just fine! The river is the gateway to hiking trails in the Cascades and the locals are the best! Located 18 miles north of Wenatchee on Alternate 97. Gateway to " Glacier Peak Wilderness ".

Great pictures. I've been visiting the Entiat over the last 20 years and recognize alot of the places and the people. Especially like the winter scenes.

Fun to look through your pictures. My family moved to Mill Camp in Ardenvoir in 1943, but stayed just one year - my mother felt hemmed in by the close mountains. But I have MANY cousins in the area and will ALWAYS have ties to the Ardenvoir/Entiat Valley. Lila Hidell lhidell@aol.com
