Craggaunowen - The Living Past, is a park area that attempts to re-create early Irish life.
With trees surrounding the castle, there were few choices for a good angle in order to photograph the whole castle.
Built by John MacSioda MacNamara around 1550 as a fortified tower house. Restored in the 19th Century with further work done in 1965.
