three chimneys

near Viroqua, Wisconsin USA

A landmark near Viroqua, WI USA.

100 Million years ago, this was all an undersea mountain range. As the waters gradually receded, the peaks were exposed and weathered. However, because this part of Southwest Wisconsin has never been glaciated, we walk among the remnants of life aquatic.
