He takes several tobacco leaves and fashions them into a rough cylinder on the smooth flat chunk of tree trunk [A],
then puts them into a rolling machine similar to that used by roll-your-own cigarette makers [B].
The outside layer is comprised of a single selected leaf, which is adhered to the cylinder with "organic glue" (honey) [C].
One end is chopped off with the device shown [D]. The tobacco is grown and cured locally.
The finished cigar is placed in a wooden mold which has
semi-circular grooves cut in, topped with another such mold, and placed in a press to cure.
