WEST VIRGINIA 2009

We visited central and southern West Virginia in September. It was just beautiful! There are 3 National Parks and 4 or 5 State Parks in that small area.
Famous for the New River Gorge (and bridge), the area is also very popular among white water rafters from all over the world.
Rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking are poplular. There are also many historic sites, including Civil War battlefields and mining ghost towns! For some additional information Go HERE
