Martini Theater

Galveston Island. Texas

522 21st St. – Galveston, TX (built 1937; architect: W. Scott Dunne) It closed December 9, 1979
Galveston’s single screen Martini Theater is currently listed as an at risk property by the Galveston Historical Foundation.
Originally the marquee sign lettering was mounted vertically on the corner of the building as in the photograph below.

so it would have been open in time to show Gone With The Wind...that's likely it's fate too, unless someone steps in with money and a plan..clever to juxtapose the old photo..
