Tail-gate party for Mardi Gras parade.
This is Seawall Boulevard, on the beach in Galveston. Hundreds of tail-gaters set up "camp" in the wee
hours, so they'd have the best seats for the parade at noon. This group brought thier big BBQ pit.
They also had a full bar set up.
Nothing like Bloody Marys and Burgers for breakfast!
Tom went fishing with his buddy, so I spent the day with my camera. I had been torn between going
to the Houston Coffee & Cars meet or going to Galveston for one of the many Mardi Gras parades.
Since the car show comes once a month, I decided to do Mardi Gras instead. Glad I did...
I had a blast and met a lot of fun people and a very cute Bull Terrier named Maddie.
