January 24

Sugar Land, TX

Another foggy morning.
I took a detour on the way to work, looking for some photo opportunities in the fog.
This area is down on the river bottom land that lies on the other side of the levees
that protect our town from the Brazos River.
This Hackberry tree has 3 different parasites that it hosts. Ball Moss, Spanish Moss and there is
a clump of Mistletoe on the 3rd branch from the bottom.
Trees in the back are young Live Oaks, planted to give shade for the cattle. Live Oaks keep
their leaves year 'round.

we hardly get fog here, it make the mundane go to magical. Wish I could find shooting locations/conditions like this more often. V

Poor tree but it's a wonderful capture of it. Love the fog and foliage on the oaks. Interesting that they don't lose their leaves. V.

Hi Lynn. This is beautiful. Great compo and you really caught the fog and the light.
I look forward to viewing more of your work and to posting again. Carol (Breton) Rollins.

So beautiful. The mist is gorgeous and I love the way the tree in the background is framed by the branches of the tree in the foreground. V
