My 85 year old father has been quite ill for the past two months. Last night, he died.
I will miss my father, we were very close.
But it was his time. My wish was answered because in the end, he went painless and peaceful.
I'm sad, but I was brought up to be a very practical person who doesn't mourn.
I honor, remember and move forward. He is free and someday I will be, too.

Please, don't feel sorry for me. I'm sad, but I'm at peace.
