Another early morning as our leaving time was called for 8 AM. I must say it's not hard to pack though when one never unpacks! It was a long drive around the rim to get to Windy Gap gate, where we drove westward onto Oldupai Gorge to check out the 'Cradle of Mankind'. It's a small, but fairly informative museum, but 'don't miss' the washrooms when you go there - they are something else! We reached the Naabi Hill gate at 1:00, just in time to have our prepacked picnic lunches. This was our first of the famous 'boxed' lunches, and I hoped it was our last. We did an afternoon 'game run' en route to the Serena Lodge. Halfway there we witnessed the most incredible sight - the migration - it was AMAZING! We arrived at the lodge in time to freshen up and meet for dinner.
