Ngorongoro Crater, June 3, 2006

What an awesome day this was! Meeting at 8 AM, we set off down the road into the crater. My first thought was that it was like opening a box of Cracker-Jack and getting all prizes! Animals, pockets of animals everywhere as far as the eye could see! It was truly an incredible day, as evidenced by the pictures below. Micato served us a delicious lunch with salads, china, real cutlery and of course, apres-dinner drinks. After more animal exploring in the afternoon, we ascended and arrived back at the lodge around six, with enough time to relax and freshen up for a wonderful supper with the group.

We came across this guy on the side of the road, we stopped
