Serengeti to Maasai Mara, June 6, 2006

On the road again! After an early morning breakfast, we flew from the Serengeti (once they cleared the giraffe off the runway) to Musoma, Tz on the shores of Lake Victoria. Here we cleared outbound customs, and then flew to Kisumu, Kenya to clear inbound customs, and then proceeded to the Maasi Mara, Kichwa Tembo airstrip, landing at 12:30. We headed straight to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, our home for two days, as we sure were hungry and didn't want to miss lunch! After lunch and a tiny rest, a Maasai chieften's son, Andrew, came to talk to us, and then took us to his village, followed by a short game run back to the camp.
