Arusha & Tarangire, June 01, 2006

We got up pretty early this morning, all packed and ready to go out to our next park, Tarangire National Park. We drove to the border at Namanga, and changed over to Tanzanian drivers and guides after customs. Daniel, our 24 x 7 concierge, did not have to hand us over, he was able to go with us throughout Tanzania. We took a very comfy bus down to Arusha, where we had lunch at the New Arusha Hotel - mmmm, good! It was an Indian buffet and it was delicious! From Arusha we flew to Tarangire, where 3 others joined us from the Heart Of Kenya and Tanzania tour - a mom, dad and their 8 year old son. We drove to Tarangire Sopa Lodge, doing a game drive en route of course!
