As years went by, it got harder to buy gifts for Mom and Dad. For their 55th anniversary we decided to cater their supper. We carted all the plates and decorations to their apartment and cooked the dinner there, complete with appetizers, wine and dessert. Courtney enjoyed playing the waitress. I think that Mom and Dad thoroughly enjoyed their 55th anniversary dinner! Of course, we had fun too, in the planning and the preparation and in sharing their enjoyment of it.
