Mamak Mabul

Mabul Borneo Malaysia

Bajau village of Mabul island, off Borneo.
6 months after I took this photo I was back in Mabul, I did not recognize her place as her shack had burnt down, so I gave the photo to Borneo Divers bungalows staff asking him to find her and hand the print to this woman.
On the day after, he had found her, he told me that when she viewed the print she was so happy she was crying.

You are an incredible person to even go back and look for her. She must be very touched. You have melted my heart to consider travelling at my own country boudaries as there is so much to offer and shoot. Shame on me!

Beau jeu de quadruple regard rythmé par ces cabanes sur pilotis; les retours avec des prints sont souvent chargés d'émotion et transfigurent la relation; évidemment encore + dans ces circonstances!
