My family went to the Pondarosa and rode in the stage in the mid-late 1960's. Part of the trip was getting "stuck" in the mud and telling the passengers we needed to get out and push. My sister and I were only 8-10 years old, but we started to get out. The driver then got the horses going again and we realized that was just a made-up problem, but we fell for it. My sister and I just talked about this a few weeks ago!
