Olympus PEN-F

The Pen-F has displaced my PEN PL-5 for over a year. The PEN- F is a huge upgrade in every aspect but not image quality wise. The PEN-F is very well built, the look and feel is great in my opinion und the ergonomics with prime lenses and light zooms are excellent. In comparison with the PEN PL-5 I appreciate the little enlargement in size and weight. The PEN F is a joy to use and to look at.
For me the main advantage is the 5-axis-in-body stabilization. Thanks to her, I achieve better results in low-light condition by keeping the ISO setting low.
And I appreciate the two dials, one in front and one in back of the body, and especially the extra dial for EV compensation: To change the settings is very easy with all these dials.
The PEN F is rediculous fast.
To be honest I prefer the results from my Leica FF but mft is good enough (with the right lenses) that I sold all my Nikon gear. In good light situations I can not see a (huge) difference between the PEN and the Leica and sometimes, when I take backlit photos, the results with my mft gear are better than with my Leica or in former days with my Nikon equipment.
Image quality of the PEN-F is at least on par with my former PL-5 but It is the case that I like the colours of the older model better.
I use the PEN-F especially for travelling and almost anytime I go out with my family.

In my opinion the PEN-F …:
… colud be a perfect family camera because it is easy to use (for all family members).
… colud be a perfect camera for travelling because of light weight (also applies to mft lenses).
… colud be a wonderful point and shoot camera with the M.Zuiko EZ14-42mm lens.
… colud be the most beautiful camera in the world (after Leica M).
… has surprised me with some features I rarely use.
… is capable of delivering very good results with these wonderful mft lenses I recommend:
1. Panaleica Summilux f1,4/25mm,
2. M.Zuiko f2,0/12mm,
3. Pro M.Zuiko f4,0/12-45.
